Take the Aston Martin DB9 as an example. This model is currently offering probably the best value as a used purchase. It was introduced in 2003, it's styling has barely changed to this day, there's a decent amount of stock in the market and it's very well built. Look for a low mileage one that's been dealer serviced and it's hard to go too far wrong.

Our thoughts on Aston Martin used cars
If you're a little more adventurous, you can take a punt on an older model, with later Vanquish versions well worth a look but the DB9 is the sweet spot as far as value is concerned. That position could soon be challenged by its baby brother, the Vantage. This is now the best-selling Aston model by quite some chalk, and even the rorty V12 models are rarely cars that have been flogged around race tracks. The early V8 models can feel a little flat if you're trading in something like a Porsche Turbo, so its best to look for one of the later 4.7-litre models if you want a car that's got some genuine urge. These started in 2008 and boosted power from 380 to 420bhp.
Later DBS and Rapide models have yet to hit the market in decent numbers, so if I were looking for a bargain Aston Martin, it would be early DB9 coupe or a 4.2-litre Vantage V8 models. You can pick up one of these Vantages for no more than you'd pay for a new Vauxhall Insignia VXR. Tempted?
