Northampton is the county town and the county itself is a rural one with lovely villages, picturesque churches and beautiful countryside. Northamptonshire Cricket Club also has come out of this county as have football team Northampton Town.
One of the newer settlements in Northamptonshire is the modern town of Milton Keynes which has excellent shopping, attractions and is an area of expansive growth. Many businesses and new homes are developing here all the time.
