The Jurassic Coast is made up of 95 miles of running shoreline stretching from Exmouth to Studland Bay and is the country’s first UNESCO World Heritage Site. Plentiful with historic remains it is steeped in history – many a fossil can be found here. The beaches and cliffs have revealed many hidden treasures over time as it is rich in geology unveiling millions of years of history.
There are various museums in Dorset to visit such as the Dinosaur Museum in Dorchester and castles, forts and ancient sites to visit too.
