With a rich history, the county has seen several kings and queens with Catherine of Aragon ending her days in the beautiful village of Ampthill and Queen Eleanor in Dunstable. In the 2nd World war, kings and queens took refuge in Bedfordshire, and Churchill made visits to the Luton Hoo.
