Ideal for the fashion-conscious buyer, the Alfa Romeo Mito also offers a number of other great advantages, too, such as a good level of safety equipment, a relatively high resale value and pacey performance. This last feature is a result of its pedigree engines - you can choose from a total of five (three petrol, two diesel) and all of them deliver an impressive amount of get up and go. Both types also offer good fuel economy and low CO2 emissions, though some critics say that they're a tad on the noisy side. As to the inside of the Mito, you'll find decent build quality, though you need to be prepared for a fair smattering of plastic, and they're roomy enough, without being the best in their class. Rivals such the MINI and Audi A1 have the edge on storage space. Against this however, the Mito is very well equipped with tech - every model comes with a 5.0" touchscreen infotainment system, Bluetooth and a USB connection.
