When it was born (1972), the Honda Civic was known as a subcompact. Now, several decades on, it's become larger and more refined, and has joined the compact car segment. And a pretty impressive compact car it is, too! Available in two engine sizes (1.0L and 1.5L, both petrol), which are both boosted by turbos to deliver decent performance and low running costs, the Civic is also stuffed full of new tech, such as multi-link rear suspension, which makes the latest hatchback an even better driving experience than previous models. This means there's that there's considerable rear-seat legroom, and lots of boot space. So, if you're looking for a car that combines affordability with punchy performance and lots of practical touches - the Honda Civic could well be for you!
