I had previously owned an earlier model of the Megane (Hatchback version), so expected a decent engine and gearbox with an occasional electrical issue. This model has an engine and gearbox that does as you would expect, with no problems even after 7 years and over 100,000 miles. The electricals are also as expected, so not a lot to praise them. The interior space is brilliant, nearly as big as the Laguna and bigger than most if not all others in its class. All in all, a decent car for the money that could be even better if a bit more work had went in to the electrics.
Massive space in the back. Automatic headlights are also a good feature to have.
Make it easier to change the bulb in the front headlights. Having to take the front bumper off to do this is not good.
