The Mini is a great fun car to drive. It handles well and can pull reasonably for a 1.4. We bought a Mini for my daughters to learn to drive in and it proved ideal for that. The insurance is reasonable for such a large car and my eldest was able to insure it in her own name for a less than £600 at age 20. We have had issues though with the fuel / engine management system. I have replaced 4 lambda sensors in 5 years and going for an MoT is always a bit worrying in case it fails the emissions test. All round though it has been a great car to own and looks good with 17" alloys. My kids love it.
