Other Honda used cars to look out for are the Accord, Honda's handsome medium range saloon or estate, the CR-V 4x4 and the FR-V six-seater MPV. Used second hand versions of the charismatic S2000 roadster bring big fun for the money and the HR-V was a small but stylish 4x4 designed primarily for urban use. Honda was one of the last mainstream marques to embrace diesel engines, so earlier models are predominately petrol.

Although rarely mentioned in the same breath as models like the Land Rover Freelander, the Nissan X-Trail or the latest Toyota RAV4, the CR-V is a car that offers used buyers some significant bargains.
