This car is very much Mazda's own work and has been hugely popular throughout its various generations. Many of the older used cars you'll encounter will be Japanese imports but that's not necessarily a reason to avoid them.
Second hand car buyers seeking a more aggressive sportscar package might also be interested in the RX-8. This is another pure Mazda product with its ingenious rotary engine and four-seater layout.
