A Lovely Car!

A great car to drive. I love the large windscreen and dashboard as the car feels really spacious. It is cheap and easy to run and look after and looks great. However, I wish that it had a rear read more windscreen wiper as visibilty is poor when it rains heavily.minimise

Smooth Ride

I just got home to Norway after a trip to the UK via Denmark, Germany and the Netherlands. My 174bhp 10-seater Volkswagen Caravelle (Norwegian version) never blinked an eyelid - although the beamers read more and audis did! Cruises at 190km/h :-)minimise

If The Price Was Right

Volkswagen Fox is a good car, but should have dsg for the 1.2, then amazing and tdi engine option all for under £6k every one would have one.

Volkwagen Golf Unbeatable

I am a huge fan of Volkswagen Golf, and this is my third. It is a really hard car to beat, and is totally in a class of its own. The comfortable seating is great for a tall guy like me, and great read more interior design. The gear change is so smooth, and the drive is enjoyable. Good mpg. I have found as well that the Golf holds its value well too, as it is so sought after. Volkwagen keep up the good work.minimise

Volkswagen Golf 1.6 TDI S (105 PS) (2010) - Consumer review

Classless But Not In The Way You'D Think

I’m the proud owner of the hugely successful Volkswagen Golf. This is my fifth Golf to date. Why do I buy Golfs? Simply because they are classless and I don’t mean this is a negative way. You could read more have a well powered job or struggling to make ends meet, the Golf never gives anything away. Yet the Golf somehow continues to ooze a classiness that is lacking in most competitors. All controls and switches in the cabin are nicely weighted. Considering the size of the car you’ll continue to be impressed with it spaciousness and all round visibility. The entire range of engines are good with a high level of performance. If you’ve owned a Volkswagen Golf before then buying an updated version is a no-brainer. If you’re looking for a car in the same class and for the same money then it’s also a no-brainer.minimise

Stress Free

I got a 3yr old Volkswagen Jetta last week, second hand for just over £6000 1.9 tdi diesel automatic. It is a beauty, gobbling up the miles with ease. The diesel engine is less stressful to the ear, read more and makes for a stress free drive - a great buy from Volkswagen!minimise

Volkswagen Passat 2.0 TDI Highline Plus (2010) - Consumer review

One Of The Best In Its Class

The first thing you’ll notice when you sit in a Volkswagen Passat is the relaxed driving position. The variations in the seating position ensure a very relaxed driving experience in any road read more condition. You’ll find a huge boot and good interior space. The cabin is quiet enough with no annoying interior squeaks. Unfortunately, the engine is a little underpowered and needs frequent gear changes at reduced speeds. However, this is outweighed by the level of fuel economy that the engine delivers. I average 55mpg with no effort. My Volkswagen Passat has truly only served to re-affirmed my belief that this car is one of the best passenger car in its class.minimise

Volkswagen Passat 2.0 Highline TDI CR DPF 4dr (2009) - Consumer review

Great For Families

The Passat is a great family car, and the reason we bought ours - our second one. It is good quality and well built, and cruises very nicely, and quietly. Engine quite powerful. And running costs are read more quite low for the size of the car. Yes it is not the most exciting car, but that is not its mission, for a solid family car the Volkswagen Passat is supreme.minimise

Volkswagen Polo 1.2 SE 5dr (2010) - Consumer review

Perfect Polo

I bought my first Volkswagen Polo, and my first ever Volkswagen last year. The Polo has not let me down, what a great wee car. The polo is really nippy around town, and so easy to drive. It is also read more cheap to run, but feels like a more expensive car inside. Would recommend getting some of the Polo upgrade options, well worth it.minimise

Volkswagen Polo 1.2 S (60 PS) (2010) - Consumer review

Hard Not To Love

Not many would argue that the Volkswagen Polo is one of the best looking cars in its class. It’s also one of the most comfortable where is make the roughest roads seem like a newly laid motorway. The read more gearbox is brilliant with a good array of smooth changes. In fact the gear change is so smooth you’ll struggle to hear them. Unfortunately, the Polo is not without its flaws. At times the engine can become noisy, especially up hills. I put this down to the engine being too small therefore I would recommend a more powerful set up such as the 1.4. Away from hills, the Polo is quiet on motorways and long distances can be covered with ease and comfort. It’s hard not to love this car.minimise
