OVERALL Build quaility Comfort Performance Fun to drive Interior design Reliability Fuel economy Exterior design Peugeot 206 1.4 Look (2008) Not Too Much To Say Unfortunately, I can’t tell you too much about the petrol version of the Peugeot 206 as I purchased the hdi diesel. So far so good, I guess. I’ve heard some horror stories about Peugeot 206 cars but so far I’ve not had any major problems with mine. Engine-wise it’s a bit noisy on the road and the brakes sound like a train coming to a halt at a station but otherwise a decent enough drive once you get used to it. I visited a dealership about the braking but they said that it’s down to the type of brake pad I have on the car. Would I buy another one? probably not, but that’s only because I really like it’s replacement the 207. I wouldn’t put anyone off buying a Peugeot 206 but at the same time I don’t think I’d go out of my way to recommend one. Favourite features Continues to look quite modern today.
