I have had issues with my Fiat Grande Punto since purchasing from new. A couple of technical problems, mean I have spent more on the car than anticipated, which is annoying after being attracted by economical claims. The best thing about the Fiat Grande Punto is its looks. Aside from that the brakes are so sensitive, noisy suspension, uncomfortable seats in the back, etc.

I’ve just bought myself a used Grande Punto and I’m truly delighted with it. The only issues I’ve had with it is that a warning appeared stating I had low oil pressure. Turned out that when I got the car services the mechanic forgot to put the sump plug back in the right way. Apart from that the car has been a dream to own. It’s a great car with loads of space and great fun to drive around town!

Fiat Grande Punto 1.9 JTD SPORTING MULTIJET (2007) - Consumer review Great All Rounder
My Fiat has been a great car in the 4 years I have owned it. Economy and performance rarely go hand in hand but with this car you genuinely do get both. Normal driving can easily get 50mpg and even driven fast it will still do 40mpg.
Only slightly negative thing is it gets through front tyres fairly quickly.
