Bmw X5 - Shovel Anyone!

If you’re going to buy a new or used BMW X5 then please take my advice and go for one which has the turbo included in the power pack. I have a 3.0 engined BMW X5 with twin turbo’s and I’m pleases as punch that I have! This is because it goes like the proverbial off a shovel! I have managed to get 0-60 in less than 6 seconds which means it is no slouch on the road. It can certainly keep up with many of the high performance coupes out on the road today. Even though my X5 is a diesel it doesn’t feel like a diesel. It feels more powerful with the added benefit of giving you more miles for your pound. You’d expect the spacing inside the cabin to be spacious and it is. You’ll have no trouble getting a buggy, the week’s shopping, some timber wood from B&Q and a set of golf clubs in the boot!

Favourite features
Got to be the adjustable suspension. I live in the county where the road leading to my house can be a challenge in the winter months. The X5 handles the road like it isn't there!

Suggested improvements
Cost of tyres. You'll need to take good cars of your types as they wear quickly and cost an arm and a leg to replace!
