Bmw M3 CABRIOLET (2008) - Consumer review Practical Everyday Sports Cabriolet
Many reviews point to the best in class engine as being the highlight of this car - and driving with the roof down of a crisp winter morning listening to the distinctive V8 engine note is certainly great fun - and the performance of the car is fantastic.
I would suggest that one of the best things about the M3 Cabriolet however is how practical it is as an everyday car. The hardtop convertible means that when you have the roof up - you are essentially in a hardtop car, without the security concerns and additional noise you would get from a soft top.
The roof is fully electric and opens or closes in around 15 seconds. It is also a fairly easy car to drive and works well as a city car, as well as clearly thriving in the more open spaces.
Being a BMW, the build quality is very good - everything works and seems sensibly designed.
