BMW 118i SE. Smart looking cars but mine, reg year 56 noisy engine even though I use petrol fuel. Would be great if with a more silent engine. Come on BMW sort it out!

Bmw 1 Series 120d Sport (2006) - Consumer review Lasted Me Well.
I bought a bmw 1 series as a second family car. It is fine for 2 people, but it is a painful if you have 3 passengers sitting in the back, it is so cramped. It is probably best suited for a couple, read more or with very young kids. Engine runs well, and have never had any problems with it in over 5 years.minimise

Bmw 1 Series 118i M Sport (2010) - Consumer review 1 Series - No Golf
I’m not sure I’m qualified to write a review for a BMW 1 Series as I only had ownership of one for a week while my car was being repaired. In that week period I have to say that the 1 Series did work read more its charm on me. Being German It’s obviously been well put together and is everything you’d expect from a BMW. The automatic gearbox was good and the ride was both smooth and responsive. I was given the 1.8 petrol engine and it has a great soundtrack when you put your foot down. The steering is responsive which made you feel like a racing driver at times. Fuel consumption also impressed me as I only had to fill up once in the time I had it. Unfortunately, it’s not without its issues. When you sit inside it can feel a little pokey. Space around the front seats are ok but the rear is pretty cramped. You’ll also struggle to get a set of golf clubs in the back too. minimise

Bmw 1 Series 1 SERIES 116i ES 3dr [122] (2008) - Consumer review Bmw 1 Series, Sexier And Powerful Than Before!
This later model includes better engine performance than older models with performance of 122BHP whilst still giving you great fuel economy. Ive done a round trip from Brighton to Leicester read more including a weeks worth of round town fuel for 40 quid!
The driver is unparelleled with other VW Audi hatchbacks with this power and the rear wheel drive. Whilst others nip round town, this car is more of a cruiser. Its sleek and sexy looking exterior makes it a real head turner too!
Youve got the looks, power, yet still the ecomomy, and in terms of ecomomy it doesnt end with the fuel efficiency, its also on a lower tax band working out at about a quarter cheaper than older models with the same engine size.
The interiors a bit to be desired. But for BMWs this is the same story across the board, and for the sake of the price, brand and performance you can stomach the lack of extras inside.
Maintenance and servicing is fairly pricey, but the electronic conditioned servicing installed cuts down the need for unecessary servicing which is purely interval timed.
This is a good entry level option BMW, as it was for me, and Im looking forward to my next installment from Bavaria Motor Works!minimise

Bmw 3 Series 318d SE Business Edition Step Auto (2010) - Consumer review Bmw 3 Series - Function Over Fun
I wouldn’t say that the BMW 3 Series is a fantastic car but more of a functional one. It does exactly what you’d expect it to. It doesn’t quite excite but at the same time, it certainly doesn’t read more disappoint. It drives well with good handling on the corners. The power plant gives you just enough torque to make driving a little more fun. Like most BMW 3 Series drivers, I’m happy with it but I’m sure there are better alternatives out there, especially for the money. But like most BMW drivers, I’m sure I will keep it a while and wait for the next edition to arrive.minimise

Bmw 5 Series 525d M Sport Business Edition Step (2009) - Consumer review Bmw 5 Series - German Excellence
I worked my socks off until the day came when I finally got hold of my BMW 5 Series Sport 525d. It drives like a dream. At low speeds you can hardly hear the engine at all but when you put your foot read more down the car comes alive with a sublime grunt. I would recommend the 2.5 diesel engine to anyone. Not only do you get a decent level of all round performance but the fuel return is excellent. If you have a budget of approx £15-19k then why buy a Vauxhall or Ford equivalent when you can buy a piece of brilliant German engineering? I’m happy with it and will keep it for a while but every time I see a Jaguar XF I sometime wonder if I should have saved that little bit more.minimise

Bmw 7 Series 730d SE Auto (2009) - Consumer review Bmw 7 Series - A Cut Above The Rest
The BMW 7 Series is a bit like marmite. You’ll either love it or hate it. I’ve been fortunate enough to own two 7 Series cars. The first I purchased second hand from a BMW dealership. My experience read more of owning this car was nothing but exquisite. You can’t but help feel a little more superior to any other driver not matter what they are driving. There’s a certain class to owning and driving a 7 Series that only owners themselves would understand. My second BMW 7 Series was a 2009 730d SE which I still own to this day. Before I purchased it I tried all the usual suspects including the Mercedes S Class. However, for me the 7 series remains the top of the tree. A lot would argue that the S class has the better interior, but for me it’s all about the driving experience and this is certainly where the BMW 7 Series stands alone.minimise

Bmw M3 CABRIOLET (2008) - Consumer review Practical Everyday Sports Cabriolet
Many reviews point to the best in class engine as being the highlight of this car - and driving with the roof down of a crisp winter morning listening to the distinctive V8 engine note is certainly read more great fun - and the performance of the car is fantastic.
I would suggest that one of the best things about the M3 Cabriolet however is how practical it is as an everyday car. The hardtop convertible means that when you have the roof up - you are essentially in a hardtop car, without the security concerns and additional noise you would get from a soft top.
The roof is fully electric and opens or closes in around 15 seconds. It is also a fairly easy car to drive and works well as a city car, as well as clearly thriving in the more open spaces.
Being a BMW, the build quality is very good - everything works and seems sensibly designed.

Bmw X5 xDrive30d M Sport Auto (2010) - Consumer review Bmw X5 - Shovel Anyone!
