Audi A3 2.0 TDI Sport (2010)

My Audi A3 Consumes Me

The first thing that attracted me to this car was is brilliant mpg figures and green measures. I thought I’d bought an Audi that would give me at least 68 miles to the gallon. However after driving the A3 for three months I noticed that the average mpg stuck around the 40-45s. I visited several Audi A3 forums where I was informed that this is normal and that advertised figures of 68 mpg was based on driving the car a certain way which was not the norm. Although I feel let down by this I am reluctant to give the car back as it has so many other wonderful features and the ride is brilliant. There should be something done about letting manufacturers such as Audi using these figures to sell their cars. However, it is a fantastic car which looks great and handles like a dream so you’ve got to hand it to the Germans in that respect!

Favourite features
Suprisingly spacious and will work well for singletons as well as families. Handles well and great response to your foot.

Suggested improvements
Should do what it says on the tin and give me more miles for my money.
